Technology Learning Coordinator

Job Summary:

Springboard Media is looking for a Technology Learning Coordinator to work with schools to teach teachers how to better use technology and help them apply it to their classrooms. As an experienced teacher you know the hurdles faced when trying to introduce new technology into the classroom, and you love helping fellow teachers overcome these obstacles. You’ll have the opportunity to work with schools to develop a technology plan over time in a way that works for the students, teachers and administrators. You will work with a variety of educational technology products, primarily Apple Technology (including Mac, iPad & Apple TV) and interactive white boards. A teaching degree is required as is patience and a friendly disposition.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have the ability to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans for technology integration, deployment, and professional development in the K-12 schools.
  • Serve as a technology coordinator for K-12 schools in the Philadelphia area ensuring the success of the school’s edtech program.
  • Consult with school leadership teams on best practices for classroom technology integration.
  • Conduct professional development and training in both education and business environments onsite, in-house, and online.
  • Assist Professional Services engineers and support specialists in deploying iPads, Chromebooks, and other technology in school environments.
  • Provide on-site and remote support for teacher edtech integration.
  • Oversee school-based support specialists.
  • Create and publish online content such as blog articles focusing on technology in education.
  • Support sales team by attending meetings (discovery, planning, etc.) and writing proposals for school technology programs and business trainings.
  • Serve as corporate trainer for Springboard Media internal trainings.
  • Help develop and actively take part in sales and education sales campaigns.
  • Educate sales team on trends in education, education best practices, and product tips and tricks.
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, Springboard Media-hosted events, and other networking events.
  • Work with Professional Services team to conduct internal training of Springboard Media.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Certifications and Experience:

A Masters Degree in Education is recommended but not required.
